WORKSHOPS STILL ON HOLD

Unfortunately, due to the current COVID-19 measures, it is not possible to give good quality workshops at a distance of 1.5 metres. We hope that everyone stays healthy and that we can be of service to you again in time.

MEMORY KEEPSAKE

Lately studio Jackaroo has made a number of commisions in which cremation ashes were processed in glass.

Memory Keepsake is the name we gave them,  and  they are meant to keep memories close and cherish them.

They where difficult commisions, and sometimes emotional, but most of all we where very grateful to be able to create these Keepsakes for the loved ones relatives.  Read more.

STUDIO VISIT 2020 KUNSTKRING SINT ANTHONIS

Last February Jacky Geurts was nominated as a new member of Kunstkring Sint Anthonis, she gladly accepted the membership. Therefore this year she will show her work during the alternative open studio route of Sint Anthonis. Maybe this will be one of the last times you will see the combination of her chandelier Small blessings and her installation Once you know where to watch and see. of course she will also show smaller sculptures on location.

As an alternative to the open studio route and the art village, both cancelled due to the Corona crisis, the Kunstkring Sint Anthonis has decided to organize a “Studio visit”. Members of the Kunstkring open their Studio to the public on 5 and 6 September.  Several artists will exhibit at other locations because they cannot meet the RIVM standards in their own studio.

The usual central point, the town hall, will remain closed during this event. For many artists this is the first opportunity this year to show their work to the public and they are looking forward to it.

Everyone is advised to check the website www.kunstkring.com to see who is exhibiting at which location, this to prevent visitors from coming to a closed studio

Visitors are requested to comply with the RIVM rules in force at that time. And follow the instruction at the different locations.

We hope to see you at the artists’ studios on 5 and/or 6 September.

Entrance: Free
Opening hours: both days from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
